MOVE IN SOME WAY EVERY DAY

DOES THE WORD “EXERCISE” MAKE you cringe? Exercise makes some people feel really self-conscious about their workout skills. And some may even hate exercising. I used to think that exercise is something you “have” to do, if you don’t workout like crazy, you’re not doing it right.

I finally figured out the secret to exercising that has helped my stress level tremendously. Here’s the simple secret:

Move in some way every day

Yep. Just simply move in some way every day. That’s it. Some days I do exercise videos. Some days I do yoga. But most days all I have time for is walking around my neighborhood. 

I’ve made the commitment to myself to move in some way every day. What I realized is that exercise every day doesn’t mean that you have to do a strenuous 45-minute workout-unless you want to. Don’t put pressure on yourself and just make the commitment to move. See it as a way to connect with your body.

And that’s it! Commit to moving in some way every day and take the pressure off of you. 

Move in some way suggestions:

Go for a swim.

Do 10 minutes of yoga. 

Play with your pets.

Take a walk.

Try a dance class.

Go for a bike ride.
