TECHNOLOGY HAS ALWAYS BEEN the way to go for me when I need to get in a better mindset.
We all carry our phones pretty much 24/7, so let’s put them to good use when it comes to dealing with stress, the need to slow down, and be more mindful.
We all go on social media as well, and I’ve found that it doesn’t need to be a place to compare, hurt and judge. There are so many good social media sources out there for inspiration and joy. For example, using youtube to listen to positive or relaxing songs can turn a boring walk into a walking meditation. Join an inspiring group on Facebook instead of spending your time checking out your friend’s latest post.
Another way to use your phone is to use mindful and spiritual apps that help strengthen my mind and boost your mood for the day.
Check out 5 of my favorite mindfulness apps:
Meditation:
If you love meditating, then you probably have heard of Headspace. This app for meditation makes it very easy for people to mediate from their phone. You can choose short guided meditations to help with anxiety, focus your mind, better sleep and much more. Great for beginners, or seasoned.
Divine guidance:
Wisdom of the Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid
I love my Oracle cards, but sometimes I like to get readings using Colette Baron-Reid’s app, Wisdom of the Oracle. Colette is a gifted psychic medium and spiritual intuitive. By using the app, you can receive guidance anytime, anywhere.
For well-being:
Deepak Chopra is the co-creator of this holistic health and well-being app. You can find articles by wellness experts, listen to guided meditations, and watch videos. Jiyo even has a health tracker that monitors your body. Get personalized health tips and reminders too!
Astrological guidance:
The Leo King, also known as the “Universe’s Most Aspiring Astrologer,” offers astrology expertise through his app. His app offers weekly readings for each of the 12 zodiac signs, as well as a weekly explanation of the current positions and influences of the planets in the universe.
Self-care inspiration:
Shine
Shine is the perfect app for anyone looking for daily motivation with texts and self-improvement audio. It covers topics such as mindfulness, and self -care to help de-stress, lower anxiety, and feel better overall. The app even has a gratitude element, as well, so you can track your gratitude each day.
Yoga:
Yoga Wake Up is an app that doesn’t just teach yoga. It’s designed to ease us out of deep sleep with easy stretches, light yoga and even guided meditations from major yogi pros.
What apps do you use for your spiritual practices, staying healthy and feeling great? I’d love to find out! Leave a comment and share!
