IF YOU ARE A HUNTER for trendy recipes, then you’ve probably seen posts about Crack Slaw. This addictive dish has been making it’s way around Facebook and Pinterest.
I had to try this Crack Slaw to see if I liked it, so I tried it myself.
I have to say…
It’s an addiction.
Yep, I see why they call it Crack Slaw!
This has to be the easiest recipe-basically, it’s egg roll fillings with your choice of protein. Basically, the whole meal comes together in about 20 minutes.
I used chicken, but you can use other protein, or none at all. This actually works for Paleo eaters too.
Ingredients:
5 Pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Tenders or Breasts
For the Slaw:
2 T Coconut Oil
2 minced Garlic Cloves
3 Green Onions, sliced
14oz Coleslaw mix
For The Sauce:
1/4 cup Avocado Oil Mayo
1 T Powdered Lakanto Sweetener
1/2 tsp. Fresh Ginger
1 tsp. Rice Vinegar
2 T Coconut Aminos
1 tsp Chili Sauce
Directions:
Mix all of the sauce ingredients and set aside.
Cook the chicken in ghee or butter until cooked through. Set aside to rest.
Leave the skillet “dirty” with the chicken drippings, add in all of the slaw ingredients and sauté until the cabbage reach the desired tenderness.
Slice the chicken and add back to the skillet. Toss to combine.
Serve in bowls and add the sauce-that’s it!
