As you might know, I love treats. When I decided to change my eating habits, I knew that giving up “sweets” was not going to happen. While I knew that I needed to give up the bad sweets, I still wanted something to satisfy my sweet tooth. I was so happy to find that there were alternatives to chips, donuts, and twinkies that still taste like you are being bad.
A while back ago, I read the book, Madness, Miracles, Millions, by Joseph and Larry Semprevivo ( you should really read this!). This book was awesome! It’s a true story life of a family struggling to make their way in life. They made sacrifices, dealt many bad hands and ended up having amazing success. You can read my review on my other blog here.
After reading the book, I really wanted to find out more about the product they created: Joseph’s Sugar Free Cookies that earned many awards. These cookies were designed so diabetics can enjoy eating cookies without the sugar worry, but they are really for anyone wanting to watch their sugar intake as well.
When I found out that they were going send me a package to try, I did my happy dance. A few week’s later, I received two varieties: pecan and oatmeal. Yay!
I loved how the flavor was subtle. For those of you that don’t like a big sugary taste, these are perfect. They are a perfect size for a snack and four cookies are still under 100 calories. I’m also a big cookie in milk dunker, so these are perfect for that since they are very crunchy. So, if you like to dunk your cookies, these are your kind of cookies!
If you want to try a package yourself, you can order from Amazon here.
