I’m sure by now, you’ve heard about the security breach Target suffered recently. Unfortunately, I shopped during the dates they were vulnerable. Since then, I have alerted my credit card companies and they were already on a lookout for suspious activity.
My thoughts on this whole ordeal…
1. I do not blame, nor do I plan on stopping shopping at my favorite store. In this day and age, this could happen to any business.
2. If I had been the Target CEO, I probably would have sent that letter to everyone sooner they did. I think we needed to hear from them as soon as possible. Not from the news people. We all would felt more at ease that way.
So, if you are mad at them because you are one of the victims, note that you won’t be responsible for charges made, and some credit companies are even giving out new cards. I think that’s a good idea and I hope Target decides to do the same, since crooks might wait a year from now to start charging.
Did you take advantage of their 10% off this last weekend? I did! I even found some great deals, and Emily got me for an extra present (a Monster High doll, of course).
Yeah, I’m easy.
Hey, not like that!
Okay, just to show how much I believe in Target, I am giving away a $10 gift card for you to come on back over. This giveaway will end just in time for you to catch their awesome after Christmas sales!
I love you still, Target.
