If you looked in my fridge, you would find a shelf that is almost always filled with bottled juice or water. If you met me for lunch, or a walk in the park, you’re going to see me carrying some kind of liquid in a bottle.
I can’t help it-I’m obsessed.
The other major thing in my life right now is my journey on becoming a health coach! I originally signed up for classes to learn how to cure my illnesses in my body, like my chronic pain. I found along the way that I was also interested in helping others to heal, both with their diet and lifestyle choices. You could say that I’m in love with this school and all the knowledge about nutrition and what the founder, Joshua calls, “primary foods”. I am excited to announce that I will be able to start taking clients by October! I also will be posting a detailed post about my journey through this all and for those of you that might be interested in becoming a health coach too, I’ll give you those details as well. : )
Friday Favs For The Week:
Food
Avocado Egg Salad
Sometimes, I really crave egg salad. I don’t like to make it using mayo though. I was super sad to give it up, but one day I found an avocado “mayo” while on Thrive Market’s website (of course!). You can find it on Amazon here as well, but it’s cheaper on Thrive.
Anyway, if you don’t want to buy a special mayo, but you don’t want to give up egg salad sandwiches (who would?), you can actually just make your own mayo-free version! Jump over to The Roasted Root for the recipe.
Green Smoothie Bowl
All the rage is directing at smoothie bowls these days. I’ve fought the urge to give in to trying them (not sure why??) but after seeing so many awesome (and inviting) Instagram and Pinterest smoothie bowl photos, I’ve given in! This beautiful bowl recipe can be found on my favorite foodie blog, The Minimalist Baker.
Fitness
Kettlebell Workout
Kettlebell workouts have been a big part of my workout routine. I think they are the most versatile and effective pieces of equipment for getting you in top-notch shape. I found this very effective kettlebell workout that you can fit into any day for a great workout.
Popsicle Workout
I found this idea on Pinterest and think it’s absolutely awesome! If you are bored with the same workout, or just don’t know what to do, make this Popsicle Workout Jar from Back to Her Roots.

DIY Air Purifier
While I’m saving up for this bad boy , I might settle for a DIY air purifier in the mean time. I saw this do- it- yourself air purifier around the net and think it’s pretty smart! Not the most attractive looking, but way more cheaper than the air cleaner I want! Just buy an allergen air filter and rubber band it to a box fan. Ingenious!
Mrs. Meyers Cleaners
Ever since I purchased Mrs. Meyer’s All Purpose Cleaner (lemon scented) , that is all that I will use to clean the house! I love how it makes the house smell so clean and I trust their ingredients as well. Yes, you can make your own as well, but for those who don’t have the time, I recommend this awesome company.
I’m going to enjoy my long weekend! What plans do you have?
