7 ESSENTIAL OILS FOR GORGEOUS SKIN

FOR CENTURIES PEOPLE HAVE been using essential oils to maintain health and treat various conditions. When it comes to skincare, their anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties give the power to help restore the skin to its natural glory. 

Here are my 7 favorite oils I use in my skincare routine:

1. Lavender

This oil helps heal skin irritations and can be used for all skin types. Use it to cleanse cuts and scrapes, and calm stressed skin.

2. Geranium

Geranium is a very versatile oil that conditions skin. Add to moisturizers to help with over and under production of oil.

3. Frankincense

You probably heard about this oil for treating aging skin. Frankincense is your ideal oil to help with pigmentation, as well as tone and tighten skin.

Recipe to try: Make your own hand sanitizer + antiseptic spray

4. Ylang Ylang

Ylang ylang is a great for treating oily or acne prone skin. It can also help stimulate cell growth to fight the effects of aging.

5. Lemongrass

Lemongrass is highly effective to treat acne and large pores. Lemongrass can also be used as an astringent and skin toner.

6. Tea Tree (Melaleuca)

The uses for tea tree oil are countless. A few of them include its antifungal and antibacterial properties. This means it’s a first choice for acneic and oily skin. Tea tree oil can also treat minor cuts and scrapes.

7. Chamomile

Chamomile is perfect for cracked skin, eczema, inflammation, and rosacea.
